6 Thousand Waves
In 2017, I made the leap of faith and bought this as my first property. I really wasn’t sure how all this rental stuff was going to work out… but what I did know was that this location was magic.
6K Waves is nestled on a quiet side street in the heart of Waikiki - just a few minutes walk to the action of Kalakaua Ave/downtown Waikiki and the best beach/surfbreaks on the south shore.
This unit was inspired by my 2017 travels to Tokyo/New York/Bali & my growing love of surfing. 6K Waves was a complete gut (see pictures below) and I loved having the opportunity to design it with a focus on simplicity, functionality, and swag.

Fully stocked kitchen/Dining
IIt’s a small space, but you have everything you need to enjoy light cooking. French press with some local Hawaiian Macnut coffee, 2 burner induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, and huge kitchen sink.
Everything you need, and nothing you don’t need from a bathroom - well except a shower door. Premium shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, custom live edge accents, hair dryer, and some badass exposed pipes.

Optimized for comfy-ness. Premium memory foam mattress. Live edge headboard, amble shelf storage, and my favorite mid-length surfboard “The C-bucket”
